THE ASSET HAS NOT BEEN PICKED UP

Sorry about the downtime and error messages here! Finally had the time to fix those. I'm afraid I have more bad news. Fox decided not to pick up Ali's pilot The Asset. Fox announced its fall schedule earlier this week and The Asset is notably absent.

RACHEL BILSON AND KRISTEN BELL AUCTION GIRLY DAYS OUT

Hollywood stars Rachel Bilson, Kristen Bell and Busy Philipps are auctioning off the ultimate girly days out to raise cash for an educational charity.
Fans can bid on the chance to go shopping or enjoy manicures with their favourite A-listers as part of the La School Life 2012 Auction in aid of the non-profit organisation Communities In Schools.
Actress pals Bilson and Bell have teamed up to offer a fun-filled shopping spree in Beverly Hills, while Cougar Town star Philipps is auctioning an hour-long cake baking session.
Ali Larter is offering a trip to her favourite day spa in West Hollywood for a manicure and pedicure, and a double date with actress Amy Smart and her husband Carter Oosterhouse is also going under the hammer.
A meet-and-greet session with Elijah Wood on the set of his show Wilfred and a private singing lesson with former American Idol contestant Paul McDonald are also up for grabs on the Charity Buzz website. |

BRIAN AUSTIN GREEN'S "FANTASTIC" SEX WITH ALI LARTER

Pregnant Megan Fox need not worry about the steamy time hubby Brian Austin Green recently spent with Ali Larter.
It was all in a day's work…
Larter, 36, tells me that she has a sex scene with Green, 38, in the pilot for the drama The Asset. "It was fantastic," she told me at the GLAAD Media Awards.
The former Heroes star plays a CIA agent who goes undercover as a photojournalist.
"There are lot of very sexy, dark, disturbing situations," Larter said. "It's very complicated. It's just very dark, so we'll see if it goes or not. Fox [the television network, not Megan!] may be a little bit scared of it."
Sounds like something we'd love to watch.
Meanwhile, Larter gushed about her and husband Hayes MacArthur's 16-month-old son, Teddy.
"We just took a trip for a week and stayed in a cabin," she said. "It was beautiful because we got to show him snow. At first his hand burned a little, but then he was eating it…He's also talking a lot—a lot about crackers, airplanes and helicopters." |

ALI WILL ATTEND GLAAD MEDIA AWARDS

The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson is to be honoured with the prestigious Vanguard Award at the upcoming 23rd annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles.
The actor will be feted alongside 2012 Stephen F. Kolzak Award recipient Chaz Bono at a ceremony on Saturday.
Officials at the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation have chosen to salute the young star for his longtime advocacy of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender groups.
GLAAD bosses will also hand out awards for Outstanding TV Comedy Series, Outstanding Documentary and Outstanding Film among other awards.
Ellen DeGeneres will open the event at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, while other special guests will include Betty White, Joshua Jackson, Tori Spelling, Kelly Osbourne, Ali Larter and Milla Jovovich. |
